ABOUT US
The FNQ Tropical Dance Festival was commenced out of a need in the area for a more enjoyable dance competition, later in the year, based on the needs of the competitors that previously did not exist in the region.
The Idea was to create a relaxed environment that embraced competitors from a wider style of dancing and encourage competitors who had little or no previous experience in competition to compete on a level playing field.
The organisers listened to the competitors, teachers and parents as to what they wanted in a dance festival. The response was overwhelming to provide a relaxed competition whilst still being true to the various styles of dance, in a fairer way.

TESTIMONIAL:
Unfortunately we won't be able to enter your comp this year, but I wanted to write in support of the brilliant opportunity you are providing the kids of the Far North with this fantastic comp. I hope more and more locals support it each year and you continue to provide this for our kids. We won't be in the country, otherwise we would be there with bells on!
All the best
